Cranberries
1m 31s
Eric asks Dr. Azza if dogs can eat cranberries, and the answer is yes—but with caution. Dr. Azza explains that plain cranberries provide vitamin C and fiber and may support urinary tract health, but they should only be offered in very small amounts. Commercial cranberry products may contain added sugar or xylitol, while cranberries also contain oxalates that can be a concern for dogs with kidney problems. She recommends avoiding cranberry juice and cranberry sauce altogether.
